EQUS is pleased to share that we’ve made some changes to how we structure our irrigation rates, making them more competitive for our members!
As a member-owned co-operative, our goal is always to ensure we’re delivering the highest quality of service to our members at the most competitive prices. We’ve made some changes to our Irrigation Rate (Rate 2567) to ensure EQUS members’ co-operative savings are more transparent than ever!
Under this new rate structure EQUS irrigation members will see the following benefits:
- Seasonal billing (seven-month billing cycle)
- 20% savings on distribution rate (based on a comparative distribution rate with our competitor)
- Transmission billed as a flow-through cost, matching our competitor
This new rate structure means that it will be simpler than ever to compare rates and see exactly how much EQUS members save as members of a co-operative.
EQUS’ Irrigation Service Rate is available to members who operate commercial/agricultural irrigation sprayers and related pump units between April 1 and October 31 annually. There is no billing for EQUS irrigation members between November 1 and March 31.
