Operation Round Up Funds for Darwell Area Seniors

Darwell area seniors will have some refurbished pool tables to enjoy once gathering restrictions are eased thanks to EQUS members!

The Interlake Golden Age Club received Operation Round Up funds for their hall enhancement project which will be completed soon. The project included many upgrades to the hall, and they asked EQUS members to support a refresh for their pool tables. Thank you to the 97% of EQUS members who round their bills up each month, your monthly small change makes these big changes possible.

Operation Round Up is a program that provides grants to initiatives that support rural youth and seniors using funds raised from participating EQUS members rounding their monthly bills up to the nearest dollar. Operation Round Up funds are awarded by a committee that consists of the EQUS CEO, one representative from the EQUS Board of Directors, and three EQUS members. The committee meets quarterly to review applications and award funding of up to $5,000 per initiative.
