Pole Replacement Schedule
EQUS will make every effort to notify members of any power outages that may be occurring during the pole replacement process. If crews require access to your property, they will contact you directly. Remember, annual pole replacements help to reduce power outages.

If EQUS is scheduled to be in your area for a pole replacement, you could save money by scheduling your service move or change in conjunction with the pole replacement program. Please contact your Area Office to find out how EQUS can assist you.
Pole replacements for 2019
North Area: 52-07, 52-08, 53-07, 53-08 and (Tomahawk) 50-06
Central Area: 43-28, 43-01, 43-02, 43-03, 43-04, 44-01, 44-02, 44-03, 44-04, 44-05, 45-01, 45-02, 45-03 and 45-04
South Area: 10-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-10, 11-11, 12-9, 12-10, 15-1, 15-2, 15-3, 16-1, 16-2, 16-3 and 17-1.
If you require information on pole replacement beyond 2019, please contact your Area Office.
For the 2018 year, pole testing will occur in the following areas:
- North Area: Entwistle Area
- Central Area: Hoadley Area
- South Area: Nanton and Bow Island Area
EQUS annually patrols lines in its Service Areas to ensure that maintenance and repairs are carried out in a timely and effective manner, which helps reduce unplanned power outages.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding line patrol, please do not hesitate to contact your EQUS Area Office.
All members are free to purchase electricity services through EQUS’ regulated rate tariff or from a retailer of their choice. The delivery of electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase electricity services from, you will continue receiving electricity from EQUS.
