5 Reasons to Attend the 2024 Annual General Meetings

You're invited to join the EQUS Board of Directors at one of three Annual General Meetings in March! We heard your feedback and we've made some changes this year, adding in a grand prize $3,000 bill credit and adjusting the start times of the meetings to better support our members who are travelling to attend.

If you've never attended a meeting before, we've got five great reasons that you should try it out:

1. Win a $3,000 power bill credit!
   All voting members in attendance will be entered to win the grand prize, a $3,000 power bill credit, with one lucky winner to be drawn at the final meeting.
2. You have a voice!
   As a member of a co-operative you have the opportunity to share your feedback, ideas, and questions about EQUS and your electricity distribution with the EQUS Board and CEO.
3. Dinner is on us AND gifts for everyone!
   We'll have refreshments available before the meeting, a roast beef dinner to follow, and everyone will leave with a gift from EQUS members, Pearson's Berry Farms, just for attending.
4. We've got great door prizes!
   There are $1,000 worth of door prizes to be won at each location. We've got great gifts to help our EQUS members and guests explore rural Alberta and support local businesses in our communities with a gift certificate for a weekend getaway with Charming Inns of Alberta, local brews, and more!
5. Connect with your EQUS community!
   Our co-operative is a community, join us to catch up with old friends and neighbours, and meet new EQUS members in your community.

Meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m., with roast beef dinner to follow. Arrive early for an opportunity to chat with the EQUS Board, CEO, and staff - ask questions, share your ideas and concerns, and more!
