We've Gone Electric!
Welcome the newest member of the EQUS Fleet! At EQUS we're big believers in leading by example when it comes to bringing innovative technology to our rural communities, which is why we're thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our fleet: an all-electric 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5.
Bringing an electric vehicle into our fleet provides EQUS an opportunity to learn as an organization. By using this vehicle, our team will gain a better understanding of how this new technology is going to change the needs of our members and affect demand on our distribution system.
This vehicle will be based at our Corporate Office in Innisfail, which features a public electric vehicle charging station powered by our innovative near-net-zero energy system that utilizes solar power and natural gas co-generation, creating value and efficiency for EQUS members.
Keep an eye out for our newest vehicle on the roads of rural Alberta this summer, and please feel free to ask our EQUS team any questions you might have about the vehicle!
